Why we do what we do.
Most of the artisans we work with have spent decades mastering a craft that rarely gets the recognition, or the price, it deserves. We set aside part of our profits to support them directly, not as a one-time gesture, but as an ongoing commitment.
We stay involved well past the sale, tracking each artisan's work and reinvesting in it over time. The one rule we don't bend on: every artist is paid 100% of their own asking price, with no negotiation.

A passion for India's timeless beauty.
Paramita Banerjee built Bharat Artifacts around a long-standing interest in India's art, culture and craft traditions.
The idea was simple: a place where that work is presented properly, and where the artists behind it are supported well beyond the sale.
